Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a respected organisation in Southwest London to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
 
This role is ideal for either a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a part-qualified professional actively studying towards their qualification, with a minimum of two years’ experience within an accounting team.
 
Your responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Liaise with department heads and seek insightful commentary on department performance.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Supporting the financial reporting and month-end close activities.
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Providing financial insight to key stakeholders to aid decision-making.
• Assisting with process improvements and financial controls.
• Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors as required.

 
The successful Management Accountant:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or studying towards qualification.
• At least two years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• A proactive and adaptable approach with a drive for continuous improvement.
