Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting an experienced CNC Turner for our client based in Milton Keynes for a permanent role.

                
Monday to Friday l Permanent l 0730 - 1630 l  £32 – 36K l 
 

🔹 What You’ll Be Doing:

As a CNC Machinest, your role will involve programming, setting, and operating a lathe equipped with motorised turret (live tooling) and ‘Y’ Axis.
Your expertise in CNC equipment programming, setup, and operation will be crucial in meeting production goals and maintaining quality standards. 

• Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling, including ‘Y’ Axis, to perform tasks such as milling and turning.
• Operate CNC machines to produce precision components from customer-supplied drawings and data.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Program CNC machines.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

 

🔹 What’s In It For You:

• £32,000 - £36,000pa (dependant on experience)
• Monday to Friday
• 0730 - 1630

• Experience as a CNC Turner.
• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
