Pertemps are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join a well established, growing group of garages in Totton. We’re seeking a detail-oriented mechanic with a commitment to safety and exceptional customer service.
Our client deliver a range of automotive services from basic maintenance to complex repairs and have an outstanding reputation for quality & value. This is a full time, permanent position.

MOT Tester Responsibilities:
- Conduct MOT tests to VOSA standards
- Diagnose faults and recommend necessary repairs.
- Communicate test results and repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and emissions regulations and are roadworthy
- Accurately document services performed, parts used, and customer queries
- Support the wider team where required

MOT Tester Requirements:
- Experience within a similar position
- Valid MOT Tester certification
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

MOT Tester Package:
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5:30pm
- No weekend work
- Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
