General Operative

Pertemps Burton are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join an exciting company based in Swadlincote.

General Operative Duties:
Assisting with the loading and unloading of steel work and manufactured goods
Using and maintaining machines to cut, drill, punch and bend steel.
Reading and interpreting drawings, and written workshop instructions.
Wrapping and packing products for customer deliveries.
Working as a team to maintain deadlines.
Maintaining a clean and tidy work space through good housekeeping

General Operative Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable and keen.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
A basic understanding of maths is required.

General Operative Role:
Monday to Thursday (Fri, Sat and Sun OFF)
7am-5:30pm (Paid 40hrs per week)
Pension scheme
Pay Rate - £12.21 - £13.50ph (Salary negotiable)
Based in Swadlincote
