Warehouse Operative

Pertemps is looking for dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a thriving company in Cheltenham. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy active work and take pride in maintaining a well-organised warehouse environment.

Location: Cheltenham
Pay Rate:£11.44 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 (Full-time)
Friday: 08:00 - 13:00 (Part-time)
Transport:Must have a valid driving license

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and Packing: Accurately picking, packing, and labeling orders according to customer specifications.
• Manual Handling: Lifting, moving, and arranging goods safely to maintain warehouse efficiency.
• Stock Control: Assisting with stock management, checking inventory levels, and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining Warehouse Standards: Ensuring workspaces are kept tidy and organized, following company procedures.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily targets.

What We’re Looking For:

•  strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
• Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and lifting.
• Ability to **work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Punctuality and reliability essential for meeting production deadlines.
• A valid driving license is required, as the location may not be accessible by public transport.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not essential full training will be provided!
