Responsibilities include:

• Managing internal audit and assurance programs with comprehensive reporting (monthly, board, DCC reports).
• Advising senior management on HSSEQ policy, legislative changes, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinating back-office systems including data, tools, and insurance management across a complex parent-child business structure.
• Overseeing critical safety risks in areas such as process safety, depot networks, transportation, contractor management, and renewables projects.
• Engaging with diverse stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance, including DGSA requirements.

Requirements:
• NEBOSH General Certificate or a relevant university degree.
• Extensive leadership experience in a HSSEQ role within a complex, matrix organization.
• Proven expertise in implementing integrated management systems, ISO certification processes, and internal audit frameworks.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive change effectively.

Benefits:
• Competitive salary of £60,000 – £70,000 (with scope to negotiate for the right candidate).
• Attractive bonus package and company car.
• Hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
• A unique opportunity to shape a centralized HSSEQ function within a dynamic organization operating at the forefront of the energy and renewables sectors.
