Are you a practical, hands-on individual with a can-do attitude? We are currently looking for a General Hand to join our growing Facilities Team at an Alcester based Manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of offices, toilets, canteen, workshop, and communal areas.
• Refill toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Monitor and manage stock levels for cleaning materials.
• Follow COSHH guidelines when handling cleaning products.
• Complete minor repairs (e.g. unclogging sinks, replacing toilet seats).
• Conduct regular inspections and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of plant machinery.
• Carry out general repair tasks including painting, basic plumbing, joinery, and furniture assembly.
• Undertake grounds maintenance (e.g. mowing, trimming, litter collection).
• Transport tools and equipment using company vehicles (driving licence required).

To be successful you must demonstrate;

• Strong organisational and housekeeping skills.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations and safe working practices.
• Basic maintenance experience across a range of tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
• Familiarity with health & safety and RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements).

This is a permanent opportunity, working on day shifts across Monday to Friday (early finish Friday!), 39 hours per week.
