Trainee Setter

Pertemps Swindon is currently looking for a Trainee Setter with passion for mechanical repair and who wants to start career within engineering.

No previous experience needed however willingness to learn is a must. You will be working as a part of press shop team.

This is a permanent position.

Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00 (30 min unpaid lunch break and 2x10 min paid breaks)

Friday 07:00-12:15 (10 min paid break)

Salary: £24761 per year

Main duties:

Help to organise day to day running of a press shop

Maintaining continuous flow of the assembly areas

Filling out relevant paperwork 

Booking materials into correct locations

Adhere and support health and safety procedures

Right candidate:

Willingness to learn

Engineering degree desired 

Interest in mechanical repairs

Hand on with repairing and testing equipment
