- Fire Safety and Estate Management: Identify and address fire safety issues and work with relevant teams to reduce risks.
- Audits and Voids Management: Conduct tenancy audits, manage voids effectively, and minimise rent loss.
- Legal and Enforcement Actions: Handle investigations into illegal occupancy, sub-letting, and tenancy breaches. Serve notices, prepare court cases, and represent the council in tribunal and court hearings.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain effective relationships with tenants, resident associations, health services, voluntary groups, and other partners.
- Customer Service: Respond to complaints, emergencies, and enquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
- Leadership: Deputise for the housing manager and supervise housing support officers when required.
We are seeking someone who is:
- Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of tenancy and leasehold legislation, housing policies, and case law.

- Organised: Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Proactive: Confident in taking initiative to resolve tenancy breaches, ASB, and complex housing cases.
- Adaptable: Ready to respond to emergencies and work outside of normal hours when necessary.
- Collaborative: Skilled at working with stakeholders and leading multi-agency meetings.
- Empathetic: Committed to supporting vulnerable residents and identifying safeguarding concerns.
