Location: Central London (hybrid working available)
Contract: Temporary, full-time 35 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Reports to: Deputy Head of English Regions
Organisation: Royal College / Professional Membership Body
Payrate: £16.14 per hour.

Overview
This is a hands-on support role within the events team of a professional membership body based in Central London. The team runs a wide range of events across the UK, including national conferences, award ceremonies and webinars — both in-person and online.
You’ll help with everything from setting up events on the website and managing bookings, to supporting delivery on the day. There’s a mix of admin, systems work, and practical support — and you'll be working closely with regional staff and the central team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Helping to set up and manage events, from national conferences to regional webinars
  • Updating event webpages with details like speaker bios and sponsor logos
  • Using the CRM to manage bookings, send joining instructions, and track attendance
  • Creating simple marketing materials using templates (e.g. Canva, DotDigital)
  • Supporting virtual and in-person events using platforms like BigMarker or Evessio
  • Sending out feedback surveys and helping pull together post-event reports
  • Responding to event-related emails and queries
  • Providing general admin support across the wider team when needed

What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • Experience working on events (online or in-person)
  • Good admin and organisation skills
  • Confident using systems like a CRM or booking platform
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work well both independently and with others

Desirable
  • Experience working in a membership body or professional services environment
  • Understanding of data protection in an events context
  • Familiarity with tools like BigMarker, Canva, or DotDigital

If you’ve worked on events within a membership organisation or professional services setting, and are available for a temporary role, please send your CV for immediate review.
