Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client within the electrical manufacturing sector, who are looking to add a Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler to their team. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with previous experience in wiring and assembly work, looking for stability, growth, and a supportive working environment.

Job Title: Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler
Location: BS21 - Clevedon
Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Salary: £25,202 – £26,026 per annum
Hourly Rate: £12.60 – £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire electrical sub-assemblies for control panels, enclosures, and associated components.
• Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and schematics.
• Carry out cable preparation, stripping, crimping, and terminations.
• Assist with basic mechanical assembly tasks.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct basic quality checks on completed work.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in electrical or mechanical assembly is desireable
• Ability to read and understand basic wiring diagrams and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools 
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
