Job Description

Pertemps are seeking a Quality & Environmental Manager on behalf of our client to take ownership of their Quality and Environmental Management System. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role that combines operational excellence with environmental stewardship.

The Role Our client is looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to lead quality and environmental initiatives across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Quality, Environment & Organisation Director, you’ll coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure compliance with ISO standards, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the company's commitment to sustainability and continuous
improvement.

This role requires deep, established knowledge of both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, with previous hands-on experience applying ISO14001 in a practical, industrial setting.
  • Full-time position, 37.5 hour week
  • £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and development of ISO14001 Environmental Management practices
  • Maintain and improve the existing ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits
  • Ensure regulatory, customer, and environmental compliance in product development
  • Handle responses to environmental queries from public authorities
  • Manage and develop a small team focused on quality and sustainability
  • Act as the company’s representative on environmental and quality matters externally
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial environment.
  • Proven knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Strong skills in team leadership, process management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent English is essential; Spanish is a plus.
