Are you an experienced GRP Laminator with a passion for working on high-performance racing yachts? We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated GRP Laminator to join our Client in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Key Responsibilities:
- Laminating and finishing high-quality GRP components for racing yachts.
- Preparing and applying materials in accordance with project specifications.
- Working on various aspects of yacht production, from hulls to interiors.
- Ensuring the highest standards of quality and attention to detail in all laminating tasks.
- Working in a team environment to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Following health and safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Proven experience in boat laminating, specifically working with GRP.
- Strong understanding of GRP materials, techniques, and the lamination process.
- Experience with racing yachts or high-performance boat builds is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Previous experience working on racing yachts or performance boats.
- Familiarity with other boatbuilding techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
