School Cleaner

Location: Wallyford
Salary: £12.02 per hour
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 32 hours per week (Monday to Friday 3pm-10pm)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team at a vibrant school in Wallyford. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the premises, creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. If you have a strong work ethic and take pride in upholding high standards, we’d love to hear from you. All candidates will need to be able to pass a PVG.

Responsibilities:
The role involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and communal areas to ensure the school is clean and well-maintained. You will replenish cleaning supplies, empty waste bins, and sanitize frequently touched surfaces. Tasks include safely operating cleaning equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor. Additional duties may be assigned as required to support the smooth operation of the school.

Essential Skills:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in an educational or public environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and health and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and cleaning.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
