Machine Operative

We are currently seeking a Machine Operative to join a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln.
 
This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.
 
What will I be paid?
Hourly rate (shift dependant): £12.50 (Monday to Friday). £13.00 per hour (2 on 2 off)
 
What hours will I be working?
There are two shift patterns available:
-Monday to Friday 0600 to 14:20
-2 on 2 off, 0600 to 1750.
 
What will I be doing as a Machine Operative?
·         Operating and maintaining equipment, such as CNC machines, lathes, folding or milling machines
·         Setting up machinery for production
·         Monitoring machine performance and adjusting as needed
·         Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet standards
·         Collaborating with the machine shop team to meet daily or weekly production targets

What skills and experience do I need?
·         Valid, RTITB Reach Truck Certificate (Desirable)
·         Competent English and numeracy skills
·         Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with tools and equipment
·         Strong organisational and time management abilities
·         Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
·         Experience in CNC Machine Operation (preferred)
·         Manufacturing background (preferred)
·         Reliable transport to reach site
