Production Operative

Pertemps Lincoln are looking to hire multiple Production Operatives for our customer in Gainsborough, with start dates scheduled in the coming month. Our customer, a global manufacturer, is growing their site and eager to bolster their talented production team. As a Production Operative, you’ll play an essential role in crafting high-quality products from raw materials, blending hands-on manufacturing with key warehousing responsibilities.
This is a varied role where you’ll gain experience across production and logistics, including:

• Processing materials using machinery and tools
• Supporting textile-related tasks like cutting or sewing.
• Assisting with incoming goods and stock organisation
• Packing and preparing products for despatch
• Performing quality checks on finished goods
• Moving materials between production and warehouse areas

What duties will I have?

• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across production and warehouse spaces.
• Generate and update production and stock documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to keep production running smoothly and on time.
• Ensure all work meets customer specifications.
• Follow Health & Safety (H&S) policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify and report any risks, near misses, or equipment issues promptly.

What skills and experience do I need?

• Basic computer literacy for stock and production records.
• Warehousing skills, such as handling stock, tracking batch numbers or using basic equipment.
• Experience working with textiles (preferred but not essential)
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Flexibility to work across both production and warehouse tasks.

How much will I be paid?

• £12.21 to £14.08 per hour, depending on your experience.

What hours will I need to work?

• Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
