Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a passion for sustainability and energy efficiency? We’re working with a leading contractor in the South West who is delivering high-impact energy efficient projects — and they’re looking for a skilled professional to join their growing team.

The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic chance to take a key commercial role in delivering retrofit projects that include insulation upgrades (EWI/IWI/CWI), heat pumps, solar panels, roofing, and more. You'll collaborate closely with delivery teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are commercially sound and completed efficiently. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing commercial aspects of retrofit contracts from tender through completion
• Forecasting, CVRs, cost control, and margin optimisation
• Procurement and administration of subcontractor packages
• Preparing valuations and applications for payment
• Supporting project teams in delivering to time and budget
• Driving best practice in cost and commercial management

Requirements:

• HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Solid experience working on retrofit or energy efficiency schemes
• Strong understanding of pricing, BoQs, SoRs, and D&B contracts
• Skilled in CVR reporting and financial forecasting
• A proactive and collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
• Competence with Excel and commercial tools
