Engineering Manager – Developer

£70,000 - £75,000 plus car

 

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join a multi-award-winning developer, working closely with the Engineering team and the Technical Director. They are highly regarded business with offices across the UK and a strong pipeline of developments across their regions.

We are looking for someone with extensive developer experience, and someone with experience in a similar role (or a solid stint as a Senior Engineer). There is a fantastic progression  opportunity to D/T Manager/Director

Main duties:

• Preparing viability and detailed designs to establish a satisfactory resolution of engineering issues.
• Carrying out practical economical Section 38 and 104 designs to adoptable standards and supplying a package of information to the Commercial Department for tender purposes.
• Liaising with Designers in relation to the development of housing layouts with a view to offering advice on SUDs and value engineering.
• Assisting in the production of site appraisals.
• Developing road and sewer designs with the approving bodies in order to solve all associated engineering issues.
• Preparing/co-ordinating external levels drawings and private drainage drawings.
• Assembling and delivering the civil engineering package.
• Discharging engineering related and building related issues.

We require someone with proven ability to manager a team of engineers, and mentor/lead your team members.

In return:

Salary £70,000 - £75,000

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
