The company

There is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Electrical Engineer to join a friendly and growing Building Services, Environmental Design and Low Carbon Engineering practice based in the centre of the Bristol. The company are a dynamic practice at the forefront of low energy building design, working in a range of industry sectors and providing high quality, functional and comfortable building with little impact on the environment.

What should you expect?
  • Engaging with clients from multiple projects at various stages.
  • Supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit
  • Engage with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects.
  • Co-ordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Financial management of projects.
  • Monitor progress and taking a leading role of contact between client and team.
  • Managing a team and winning work.
What are we looking for?
  • Chartered engineer
  • A minimum 10+ years’ experience in designing electrical systems for buildings.
  • A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong client skills
  • Projects with a view to increasing management and leadership responsibilities.
  • Skilled in software such as Amtech, Autocad, Revit, IES or Dialux
  • Interest in responding to the climate emergency.
