MULTIDROP VAN DRIVER

Our client are currently on the lookout for a experienced enthusiastic and reliable Courier Van Driver to join their team in Sheffield

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities will include:

• Taking responsibility for a company vehicle and customer packages
• Ensuring everything is recorded with the use of a hand held scanner
• Adhering to health and safety procedures including ensuring your van in loaded securely
• Interacting with customers and a polite and professional manner and being a good brand ambassador for our client
• Up to 20 drops a day
• Start times between 0400 - 7000
• Communicating with client managers throughout your working day
• Adhering to Road Safety laws
• This role can involve some heavy lifting.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will:
 

• Hold a full, UK driving licence (No more than 6 points)
• Have excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate great time keeping and reliability
• Show a good use of initiative
• Be confident in driving a 3.5tn transit size van
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Used to high volume multidrop
• Show an awareness of Health and Safety procedures as well as Road and Traffic laws
