Rolling Mill Operator

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Rolling Mill Operator to join our client, a successful manufacturer in Kingswinford. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating rolling mill machinery, ensuring quality production, and maintaining a safe working environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor rolling mill equipment to process metal materials
• Adjust machine settings to achieve required specifications
• Conduct quality checks on finished products
• Perform routine maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance team
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Work efficiently to meet production targets

 
Requirements:

• Previous experience working with rolling mills or in a metal processing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work shifts if required

 
Hours of work:
8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
 
Rate of pay:
£12-£13 per hour
