Salary: Negotiable
Working Hours: Saturdays- 8am to 4pm (potential for additional hours)

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled MOT Tester to join our client in Dudley. As an MOT Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the required safety standards for road use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MOT tests on a wide variety of vehicles in line with DVSA regulations.
• Perform visual inspections of vehicles, including checking exhausts, brakes, lights, and tires.
• Identify and diagnose faults or issues found during testing and record them accurately.
• Provide customers with clear, concise information on the results of the MOT and advise on any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Maintain accurate test records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Keep the MOT testing bay clean and organised.
• Stay up-to-date with current MOT regulations and any changes in testing procedures.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Successful candidates will have:

• Valid MOT Tester Licence is a must
• Previous experience in an MOT Tester role.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain test results to customers.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
• A passion for cars and the automotive industry.
