Turret Operator Setter

Turret Operator/Setter – Rotating Shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
Location: Dudley
Pay: £13.00 – £14.20 per hour + 15% shift allowance
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in the Dudley area who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Turret Operator/Setter to join their production team. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with a growing business.
Role Overview:

• Setting and operating CNC turret punch machines to produce precision sheet metal components
• Working from engineering drawings and job instructions
• Performing in-process quality checks and making necessary machine adjustments
• Ensuring machinery is used safely and maintained properly
• Working to production targets within a team environment

Shift Pattern:

• Weekly rotating shifts:
  
  • 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• 15% shift allowance in addition to base hourly rate

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience operating and setting CNC turret punch machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
• Good understanding of tolerances and measuring equipment
• A strong eye for detail and focus on quality
• Willingness to work rotating shifts
