MIG Welders

Pertemps are seeking skilled MIG Welders to join one of our clients in Kettering, this will be a Temp-Perm role.

Duties include

• Perform MIG welding on various materials, primarily sheet metal, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. 
• Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
• Troubleshoot any welding issues that arise during production.

Skills

• Proven experience in MIG welding of at least 4 years
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using various power tools and hand tools related to welding and fabrication tasks.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm, overtime is available daily and Saturday morning, overtime is paid at time and half after 40 hours

Pay is £12.81 per hour with a £40 per week attendance bonus.
