We are seeking a number of Drainage Operatives for an environmental / infrastructure business in the Tamworth/ Nuneaton area.

This is an ideal opportunity for something seeking a career with a progressive, growing business in readiness for some significant expansion plans. The work will be carried out in both domestic & commercial settings, in a two / three person crew in a company vehicle. Your role will involve carrying out CCTV drainage surveys, drain cleansing, analysing pipe conditions and producing high quality CCTV reports using state-of-the-art surveying equipment.

You will be responding to both planned and reactive blockages throughout the Midlands and further across the UK; as such we require all candidates to be flexible, and aware that you may be working closely wih sewage, at times within confined settings.

You will need to be a confident and clear comunicator, as you will be liaising with both customers and contract leads to discuss findings, organise daily tasks, and ensuring jetting unit is fully equipped for each job. 

The company would offer a warm welcome as part of their regular crew, and always welcome those with a can-do attitude, and a good sense of humour. It is preferable that the duty of Driver is rotated fairly, particularly for projects based further afield.

The main requirements of our CCTV Drainage Operative role include:

- Full UK Driving licence (must be clean or no more than 3 points) with ideally some experience as a commercial driver
- Ideally will hold an in-date CSCS green card
- Will ideally have a Confined Space certificate, or prior experience
- NRSWA qualification
- Will ideally have a high-pressure water jetting (jetvac) certificate (helpful but not essential)
- Comfortable working with wate water and blocked drains (protective gear provided)

In return, you will receive the following package:

Pay rate: Based on a sliding scale of £13.00-£15.00 based on breadth of experience

Hours of work: 0800-1700, with your travel times between your home and the site paid at time plus one half. As a minimum, you will expect 42 hours per week.
