Job Specification: Temporary Accounts Assistant
Overview:
Our client is recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant to support the finance team during the migration to a new accounting system. This is a challenging role that requires a methodical thinker with experience working with complex or difficult computer systems. The position is based in Bromsgrove and pays £14 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with data migration between accounting systems
• Carry out account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support general bookkeeping and financial administration
• Maintain accurate and organised financial records
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure a smooth system transition

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
• Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
• Confidence working with challenging or unfamiliar computer systems
• Good understanding of basic accounting processes
• Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software is beneficial
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently during periods of change
