CAD Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join a well established manufacturing business based in Halesowen. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a innovative team working on diverse design and development projects.

Annual Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks 2024 and DraftSight
• Modify and update existing CAD drawings in line with design changes
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering and project teams to ensure accurate design implementation
• Support prototype development and product revisions
• Maintain drawing records and adhere to design standards and quality protocols

Requirements:

• Proven experience using SolidWorks (ideally 2024) and DraftSight
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
• Previous experience with Press Brake machines an advantage but not essential
• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
