Laser Operator
Our ever-expanding manufacturing client is looking for a full time, temporary to permanent laser operator for their company based on the outskirts of Newport.
In the laser machine operator job role, you will be operating the machine to manufacture metal products using laser machines with computerised equipment, you will be using the laser cutting, to engrave and cutting with punching machines that will make the correct parts, and will then finally be assembled.
You will also be helping with the setup, maintenance and operation of a CNC machine, selecting lenses, loading programmes and calculating machines specs and parameters based on the thickness and type of material used.

Ideal Candidate

• Technical Machine Background (Laser, Press Brake, CNC)
• Setting/Operating Experience
• Sheet Metal Experience (Preferable)
• Attention to Detail
• Ability to work on own initiative.

Hours
8-5pm
Monday – Friday
 
Salary
£13.50 - £15.00 per hour D.O.E
