Driver/Gardener

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Driver/Gardener on a temporary basis for a client based in Cardiff until end of October 2025!

Pay: £13.05
Hours of work: 37 Hours per week
Monday -Thursday 07:30 - 16:00
Friday 07:30 - 12:30

The successful candidate will be supporting the Parks Services Team in carrying out a wide range or Horticultural and grounds maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of amenity horticulture throughout all parks and green open spaces
• Hard and Soft landscaping works
• Use of Ride-on mower and powered hand tools
• Driving duties as requested
• Follow all health and safety procedures

The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:

• Experienced in amenity horticulture
• Experience of using pedestrian operated machinery/power tools
• Experience of outdoor manual working in all weathers.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety.
• Experience in dealing with the public.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• To demonstrate an ability to work alone and use one's own initiative.
• Show commitment to quality service delivery.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
